What is a Lodge? Freemason Lodges are the basic organization in Freemasonry. They are collectively governed by Grand Lodges and or Provincial Grand Lodges for the area in which they reside. In our case, we are governed by Warwickshire Provincial Grand Lodge under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England.
A Lodge Room is the room where the lodge(s) hold their lodge meetings, housed within a Masonic Temple – symbolically echoing King Solomon’s Temple. The ‘Lodge’ is where Freemasons practice their Freemasonry, learning moral and ethical values through allegory and symbolic plays, called ritual – defined as a set of actions performed mainly for their symbolic value.

Our Freemasons Lodge meets near the centre of Birmingham on the 3rd Friday in September, October, January and March. We are meeting at Severn Street Masonic Hall. Consecrated in 1919.
To become a Freemason you will need to be a man aged 18 or over, be of good character and believe in a Supreme Being. The Order is open to men of all faiths. Candidates are supported at every stage of their entry into Masonry. By joining our Lodge you can be assured of a very warm welcome. See more information on the ''Have questions?" page.
